If like lots of people you have never had counselling before it can feel a little daunting. Below I have answered some questions that might help to alleviate any anxiety. I have tried to cover as many areas as I can. If however you have any further questions please do get in touch. Please take a look at my testimonials.
Q. How much are sessions?

Sessions are £50 for 50 minutes. These sessions are payable in advance via bank transfer or card payment.

Q. Is therapy for me?
Therapy is not for any specific person. Therapy is a chance to speak guilt free about anything that is troubling you or causing you problems.
Q. How many sessions will I need?

This is a hard question to answer, however you are in control and along the way this will become clearer.

Q. How many times a week will I need a session?
The standard approach is once a week, however there may be times when this needs to increase. This will be a private matter for you and your counsellor to decide.
Q. Are you seeing clients face to face?

Yes I am.
There is free parking on site.
I am a short walk from Asda Tilehurst and Prospect Park

Q. How will I know what to talk about?

I get asked this question often, its a question I used to ask myself as the counsellor. Now instead of worrying about it I ask that you simply come, sit on my sofa and allow me to guide you.
Q. What happens if I am unable to make an appointment?
I require 48 hours notice, this is so that I can offer this session to someone else that might require it. Failure to do so will result in the charge of a single session.
Q. How long are sessions?
Sessions are 50 minutes each.
Q. What are your Covid requirements?
If you have Covid I ask that you do not attend your appointment. This is the same with any virus.
Hand sanitser is available, I also test regularly to ensure my clients safety.
Q. Is therapy just for rich people?
I have been asked this question a few times, the simple answer is NO. Everyone is allowed to attend therapy regardless of who you are.
Q. How does online Counselling work?

If for whatever reason you are unable to get to me I am able to offer safe and secure online Counselling via WhatsApp video. If conducting a video call is uncomfortable this can be discussed.

Q. How do I make an appointment?

Simply hit the Contact tab and send me your details. I will endeavour to be in touch as soon as I can.

Q. Is Counselling confidential?

What you say in Counselling is confidential and what we discuss stays between us. However, there are a few acceptions to this, which I will discuss at our first meeting.

If you have any other questions or are ready to take the next steps, please do get in touch. Please be sure to take a look at my testimonials from past and current clients
Q. Do I need to be at rock bottom before considering therapy?
Absolutely not, being at rock bottom is a sign that you have waited too long to seek help. However help is always at hand, don't be afraid to ask for it.
Q. Do you work in the evenings?
No, but I will try to accommodate for exceptional circumstances.
